Terms of Service

1. Agreement
By creating an account or using the GodFocus Platform API ("Platform"), you agree to these Terms. The Platform is operated by WhyLiveToday LLC ("we", "us"). If you don't agree, don't use the Platform.
2. Account & API keys
You're responsible for keeping your API keys confidential and for all activity under your account. We may suspend or revoke keys that show signs of abuse, fraud, or harm to other users.
3. Credits & billing
Credits are prepaid via Stripe and consumed per API call (1 credit for keyword search, 3 for semantic search, 10 for grounded RAG). Credits never expire. Refunds available within 30 days of purchase for any reason — email godfocus@whylivetoday.com.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Platform to:
- Generate content that misrepresents the Bible or promotes harm
- Resell the API directly without contacting us first
- Attempt to extract or recompile our embeddings, models, or training data
- Circumvent rate limits, quotas, or other technical controls
- Use the service for unlawful purposes
5. RAG answer accuracy
Our grounded RAG endpoint cites Bible verses but should not be relied on as a substitute for pastoral care, theological scholarship, or counseling. Always verify citations against a trusted Bible translation before publishing or acting on them.
6. Service availability
We aim for high availability but provide no SLA on the free tier. Enterprise SLAs are available on request. We may schedule maintenance windows and will announce them in advance when feasible.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. On termination, unused credits will be refunded to the original payment method, less any outstanding balances.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the Platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be announced via email to the account contact at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
